In consideration of our Mother Earth and the 'going green' initiative, Montrose Auction plans to continue our own green efforts by reducing our printings and mailings.
Since January 2009, we have ceased mailing more than 1000 postcards each month for our Tuesday Night Auctions. In addition, we have reduced the number of mailings for our First Friday Antique Auctions and focus on mailing notices about our specialty auctions that are outside our regular auction schedule.
Our web site is the best way to find out what's happening at Montrose Auction! You can find up-to-the-minute information on upcoming auctions and events on our calendar. While you're on our web site, please sign up for our newsletter with a current email address so that we may notify you of our auctions . This will help to cut down on the paper and ink products required to produce a mailing. Saving trees has got to be a good thing, right? You may also contact Montrose Auction by email. This way, we can keep in touch and notify you of upcoming events.
As you may be aware, stripping and refinishing furniture is one of the oldest forms of recycling. At each of our Tuesday Night Auctions we sell many antiques in 'as found' condition. Most only need a quick repair and refinish before going back into service for another 50 to 100 years.
